EXTERIOR WINDOWS AND DOORS HIGH PERFORMANCE AND ENERGY EFFICIENT TIMBER WINDOWS

There is a sixth source of energy: savings. 90% of the world's energy supply comes from nonrenewable sources: oil, coal, natural gas and uranium. The renewable sources remain next-to-last in the rankings of energy use. The massive use of fossil fuels is putting energy supply and our lives at risk. It also contributes to air pollution problems and the emission of greenhouse gases.

The "sixth fuel", in other words energy savings obtainable through better insulation, is potentially the biggest savings factor. The sixth fuel is clean and sustainable. It improves the quality of life and living comfort. It is technologically proven and does not require advanced technological research. But the most important thing is that the sixth fuel is a theoretically inexhaustible resource and it is free. As strange as it may sound, the most abundant available energy source is none of the four sources mentioned above, rather it is energy savings.

All of the legislative efforts in recent years, including the most recent finance act, have included both tax incentives and benefits for the energy requalification of existing buildings and jamb measures for promoting new high energy-efficiency building.
